Really, the only reason you’d want ultra-high impedance headphones like the 600-Ohm model is if you were listening with far out-of-date equipment exclusively, as it has a high G6 + DT 990 pro 250 Ohm too loud. Partial UPDATE: tried the DT990 Edition 600 Ohm. My recommendation is that you buy a good Amp and enjoy the DT 990 600 Ohms. K5 Pro has only 1. This is the lowest price ever on Amazon. Better to get the 250 ohm version and have enough volume headroom than to get the 600 ohm and not. The 990 DT Pro has the better, wider stage but lacks a bit of bass in the upper range. I'm not only talking about volume, but to get the best, fullest sound possible. I've decided on getting the dt 990 pros and I don't have an amp, but read that there is a 80 ohm version of the 990 pros, but can't find them anywhere. And it is easy to drive will work pretty much on any device, even a phone dongle. Music on the other hand is down to preference I'd say just get the 250 ohm 990 but that's only because there is more documentation and info about the positive sound changes that come from their pad break in, where as the 600ohm just has less info available Pretty much all beyer 250 ohm variants are the worst. While the Beyerdynamic get more bass, they also sound a bit sharp and piercing. Open comment sort The 990 also fit better and are easier on the ears.
